The Consulate General of India, Vancouver in cooperation with over 20 Indo-Canadian Associations and cultural societies in B.C.is hosting a day-long cultural event “Namaste Canada 2016” on Sunday 4, September 2016.
The objective of the event is to bring together the Indian Diaspora around a common platform annually to celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage and the flourishing ties between India and Canada. The event is being organised at the Surrey Arts Centre.
The day-long event will feature performances, presentations, documentaries and other items in three different halls. The programme has been put together by local artistes who would be performing on a voluntary basis.
