SNOW Musical Group

They want to devote their spare time to music and spread happiness through singing.
It all started during last year September 2017 when there were BC Wild Fires. One of the group members along with his family members decided to do something to help the victims, but then realized that on their own they could not do much. As the lead member is an ardent fan of Late legend Shri Mohammed Rafi saheb he decided to hold a musical event where everyone attending can give Tribute to Rafi saheb and also donate to the Canadian Red Cross for the BC Wild Fires rescue operations. This event was a success and from here he decided to sail on a new mission – MFC Music For Charity.

The following are the events that were organized by SNOW Musical Group and the causes for they supported:

September 2017 – A FREE event
Ek Shaam Rafi Saheb Ke Naam —- Canadian Red Cross

March 2018 – Ek-Izhaar — A FREE event
Love is still in the air —– Surrey Food Bank
During this event he was joined by two more persons whose passion was music

September 2018 — A FREE Event
Kishore Kumar Ke Karishmein —– The Heart & Stroke Foundation

In the September 2018 event the lead member thought that the MFC mission can expand and spread only if more people join and events were designed in a more structured way. So the SNOW Musical Group came into existence. The abbreviation of SNOW = Seven Notes One World (7 Sur 1 Vishwa in Hindi)

To demonstrate how we plan to accomplish our MFC mission: In August 2018 there were heavy floods in State of Kerala, India with enormous loss to property, infrastructure and lives. The state and other authorities were appealing for assistance and declared that it may take another at least a couple of years for things to become normal.

SNOW Musical Group decided to have one more musical event where the net proceeds from the sale of guest tickets will go for the Kerala Flood Relief Operations. So Friends on November 12, 2018 Remembrance Day long weekend Monday we have the Kala Sandhya – Celebrating Arts and Culture event. We invite everyone to join us in this good cause. Although this event will have buffet dinner the tickets are very reasonably priced tickets. We urge to join us here.

Going forward SNOW will be having musical events to:

1. Support various charities
2. Assist victims of Natural Calamities
3. Perform for Charities on invitation
4. Perform for senior’s homes
5. Perform at private events

We want to feel happy through music and transfer this happiness to everyone in the world. In all our events we acknowledge talent and motivate the stage shy people to share the stage us and sing with us or as solo. During the course of the above three events we have come across enormous talented people we just wanted a stage to start with and we are glad that we could provide them with it.
